Buzzard Droppings January 2009

Happy New Year!

Well, it’s hard to believe that 2008 is over and the New Year is here. I guess there’s something to the saying “the older you get, the faster time goes by”.

So I’m trying to sit back and remember what I accomplished this past year in the hobby. Here are a few thoughts…….

Number one is continuing to be a part of a Great Club, the Barnyard Buzzards!

Part of what I did was to complete the Hughes H1 and learn a lot about scratch building. One thought might be to never do it again, but that would be a fib. I totally enjoyed the experience.

Text Box: Meeting Minutes from December 2, 2008 — Vaughan Houger

President Chet Blake called the monthly Barnyard Buzzard Model Airplane Club (BBMAC) meeting to order on December 2, 2008 at 6:30 P.M. at Alfy’s Pizza in Monroe.  There were 29 members present and there were 18 family and friends present, too.  47 people turning out for this event is quite a tribute to those who are involved and support

our club.  The next meeting will be on Tuesday January 6, 2009 at 6:30 P.M. at Alfy’s Pizza in Monroe.

Again, note the new meeting time – 6:30 P.M. due to Alfy’s Pizza reducing its business hours.

Chet asked for visitors or guests and gave them opportunity to introduce themselves.  John
