Who would have thought that in the middle of April we would get a couple inches of snow. Our field clean up was canceled and moved to the rain date of Saturday, April 26th. A couple weekends ago I drove up to Performance Hobbies to buy a roll of AeroKote for my contest airplane. I spent some time

talking with Suzie the owner about Skagit County R/C Club losing their field and not having another field to go to. Suzie also told me an Auburn, WA. club also lost their field to developers. Chet Blake sent me an email mentioning that the Wenatchee Red Apple Flyers lost their field, also.

Text Box: Meeting Minutes from April 1, 2008 — Chet Blake

President Fred Hanquet called the monthly meeting of the Barnyard Buzzards to order at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2008  at Alfy’s Pizza with 18 members present.

Fred asked for visitors or guests to identify themselves. No visitors were present.

Our next meeting is at the Club field, May 6. The meetings will be at

the field until  October when we’ll resume meeting at Alfy’s. The May meeting will also be the judging of the Builder’s Contest.

             Fred asked for ideas and volunteers (3 person committee) for the Auction proceeds from our annual auction event.  The annual auctions will be in June and July at
