Text Box: The competition was fierce, with Arlington having an event the same weekend and great weather, etc. Despite that, four pilots entered the Buzzards Combat event. Our CD, Scott, broke his motor mount on landing after the first heat, leaving only three combatants. Not a problem, all three remaining pilots were on different frequencies, so all three flew in the remaining heats. The results: 1st place - Dick Resler with 2 kills and 8.5 points 2nd place - Dean Appell with 1 kill and 7 points 3rd place - Tom Fixel with 1 kill Thanks to everyone who helped out with the judging and cooking, setup and cleanup!
