Buzzard Droppings October 2007

Thanks to all of you who showed up and participated

in our second Combat Event of 2007.  We had 7 pilots

sign up this time.  The lower than expected participation

could have been caused by the delayed event and the

rainy weather.  We weren’t able to assess the Sunday

vs. Saturday preference since both events were held on

a Saturday.

For the first time, I managed to take first place with

some very close scoring by the other top places. 

Second was won by first-time combat pilot Jake

Jacobson.  Third was initially a tie, but Tom and Dick both wanted a Fly off to determine the Third spot.  Dick won third by winning the fly-off.  Congratulations to everyone and a special thanks to Fred for the great meal he prepared two weeks in a row!
