Buzzard Droppings April 2007

(Continued from page 7)

get more mud on themselves than what was on the field from all the spinning wheels.

Brian Richardson offered to use his pickup to pull Chet’s pickup out of the mud.  I keep a 25 foot long rope in the car for tethering my dogs when out and about.  So we used this rope to try and pull Chet’s pickup out.  The first try, Brain’s pickup was spinning all four tires and not going anywhere.  So we repositioned this truck to pull from a different area of the field and while the rest of us pushed Chet’s pickup, Brain pulled with his, and finally Chet’s pickup started to move and Brain pulled him out clear of all the mud.

We decided to try and pull my car out next.  Brain backed up to the rear of mine and we pushed and pulled to no avail.  We then decided to try from the front end of my car.  The good news is that worked.  Brian pulled me out of the mud and onto solid ground.

Brain Richardson (Originally from England) saved the day – Many thanks to Brian and the others for getting our vehicles out of the mud.

As you can tell, flying in the northwest does have its challenges.  But the British came to save the day!
