about entering this model as a stick build because of all the cutting I’ve done…

Anyway. At the last meeting, Brian Richardson mentioned he couldn’t run for VP for 2007, so this leaves the vice president’s office wide open, guys…  We thank Brian for his 3 years of dedication to our club (although he still has two months to go)!  These will be some pretty big shoes to fill.  Also, at our next meeting, nominations will be open for the

Officer’s Reports

President - Fred announced that the evening agenda was the Alternative Field Committee report and the start of the Buzzards Annual Builder’s Contest. Entrants are to bring their kits, ARF’s or plans to a meeting or show another member in good standing that it is an “un-started” kit.  Entry fee of $10.00 is to be sent to Rick Hanners, out treasurer.

Also the Nomination of Officers is open at this meeting, continuing through the December meeting, when the elections will occur for the 2007 year. Brian Richardson is completing his 3rd year as Vice President

Vice President - Brian Richardson announced that the events for the 2006 season have concluded.

He felt the turnout for the events had dwindled as the summer progressed.

Dave Kelly of RC Hobbies in Woodinville provided prizes for the summer events. Thanks Dave !  Proposed  events for the 2007 season will be delayed until the 2007 board meets.

Secretary - Chet Blake reported 62 members including; 1 Honorary, 3 family and

1 junior.

With the recent needed rains, the grass is springing back to life. There are only a few weeks left on the signup sheet, so when you’re out there and the field, pits and parking lot need mowing, please do so. If you need gas and want to be reimbursed, save the receipt and give it to Rick Hanners

The field has been looking GREAT, so I personally want to thank all who signed up on the mowing list and did their part.

A letter was sent to Jim Clayton about the Club trainer. No word has been received as of this date.

AMA dues are now due. Please keep this in mind, you CANNOT fly at our field OR continue membership without holding a 2007 AMA card after the first of the year. It sometimes takes the AMA a short while to process these, so don’t wait too long.

Treasurer – Rick Hanners reported that the balance is $4132.01. We’re in good shape. He just wrote a check for $120 for postage.

Safety Officer – Vince Bell reported that everyone seems to be doing a good job, keep up the good work!

There have been a few crashes, but all in all, a good safe summer.
