There was a motion made and seconded to get a can of some type to store grass seed to sprinkle or bare areas OR our “divots” we leave from less that graceful landings.

Old Business

New Field locations are still being sought. If any ideas, please contact Fred or any of the Board members, we need any and all ideas to ensure a flying site for the Buzzards.

New Business

A motion was made and seconded to accept the event dates as listed above, reported by Vice President Brian Richarson.

Fred reminded everyone again about the seriousness of locating another field. The sale or future use look immanent and we have to take action. Any and all hints, ideas or suggestions are welcome!

Our regular meeting night is the first Tuesday of every month. This year the first Tuesday in July is July 4th. A motion was made and seconded to move the meeting 1 week to July 11th.

A motion was made and seconded and passed for the Club to make up the difference between the entry money collected for the Builder’s Contest to a total of $200 for prizes.

Announcements

The Gate and Shed combination have been changed.

Fred said that anyone needing lead sheet to contact him, he has quite a bit from a construction job. AS ALWAYS, be sure to wash up after handling any lead product to protect yourself and those dear to you.

Ron reminded us that out club logo, some 80,000 stitches can be put on a garment of your choice . For $80 you can get a jacket with the embroidered logo.  Sandy has Tee shirts for $10.00 (transfer type print), front and back. $21 will get you a sweat shirt with the BBMAC logo on the back and your name embroidered on the front.

Program

The rest of the meeting was turned over to Ron Router with a talk about radio interference, the possible sources and what we might be able to do to decrease our chances of hits. Ron has some good stuff on Power Point that is going to be converted to Word Document so we can get it printed up.

After that, Dave Bell brought his Pet ‘n Poke for auction so the money will be donated to Children’s Hospital. So far it has been bid up to $225 (Chet hi bidder so far) and then a gracious out pour of just donations started by Dan Fye, Brian Illston, Fred Hanquet, and Ron Router So far the donations stand at

$400 from the meeting PLUS the $225 fro the plane and will conclude at the May Meeting.

Dave said that all moneys will be donated to the Children’s Hospital Guild in the name of his grandson Shawn Honcoop from the Barnyard Buzzards, the best flying club EVER! Dave was deeply moved that the club cares so much and so much money was raised in just one night, he said it showed the true “heart” of our organization. More donations have been reported since the meeting.
