Valley) and asked him to come to the field and observe the operations, members and noise levels that the hobby presents. Harley’s had some personal things going on and hasn’t taken time yet to visit us.

There are rumors of the possibility of an alternate field in the Everett area of Lowell near 52nd St . There are 2 AM radio towers there that could possibly cause interference issues.

Pilot training - Rick Hanners reported that 2 members still need check out flights and 2 members need training that is in progress.

Sound Management – No new readings have been recorded.

Field Improvements  - Joe Wallis reported that the work day was a success on Saturday April 22. Thanks to all who attended and helped out. It was a beautiful day, everyone got the work done and enjoyed some great flying weather. The Port-a-Potties have been serviced.

Joe asked that we NOT spray any more broad leaf killer on the field for at least 6 weeks, so the new grass seed will have the opportunity to take and grow.

There is a can with grass seed in the shed. In case of “plane divots” or Mole abuse, sprinkle some grass seed on the area in need.

New Business

Brian Illston reported that the new Cub tractor oil filter had backed off after just being serviced. He contacted the Cub dealer and they picked it up and mentioned that this was the third case they knew of with the filter backing off. When they brought our tractor back, there was very little or NO oil in it from the dealer!!!

Please be sure to check the oil level and filter before running the tractor. Brian put labels on the tractor to remind everyone of this. THANKS BRIAN !

The plane brought $300 and donations started by Dan Fye, Brian Illston, Fred Hanquet, and Ron Router were just the beginning. A BBMAC jacket was also auctioned off, and members dug deep into their hearts and wallets to make an outstanding final tally of $1238 for the cause.
