Officer’s Reports

President - Fred requested and received a motion to approve the minutes as published in our monthly newsletter. Motion was received, seconded and passed unanimously.

Fred asked for visitors and/or guests to identify themselves. Mr. Ray Simmons was visiting and consequently became a member. Welcome Ray !

Marissa and Shaun Honcoop were present to be with the Club for the  conclusion of the Charity auction.

Fred asked Ron Swift to say a few words about the AMA Gold Leader Club award. There is a list in the Model Aviation magazine that shows the AMA Gold Leader Clubs. The Barnyard Buzzards are noted and displayed as a 5 yr. Gold Leader Club……… Hurrahhhhh ! Ron said that the AMA has supplied patches for everyone with the 5 yr. Gold Leader Award…….. WAY COOL !

Thanks Ron, for always orchestrating and leading the way(s) to make our club stand out !!

Vice President - Brian Richardson

announced that EVERY meeting will be a swap meet and the First Saturday of Every Month throughout the summer will be an OPEN HOUSE at the field. He also reminded everyone of the Event dates;

June 3 - Open House

July 1 – Open House

July 22 – Fun Fly

August 5 – Open House

Aug 19 – Combat

Sept 2 – Open House

Every Event is also a swap meet.

 

Secretary - Chet Blake reported 53 members including; 1 Honorary, 3 family and 2 junior.

A mowing list is available, the following dates are still open; June 16, July 28, Oct. 6, Oct 20 – 27.

You can find the mowing list has been posted on the BBMAC web site. Please do your part, take a date to cut the field. As always, please try to have the field cut by Friday evening.

Chet reminded everyone that the regular meeting night is the first Tuesday of every month, but this year the first Tuesday for July is July 4th. A motion was made, seconded, and approved unanimously to move the July meeting to July 11th.

Please make sure to note this change!

 

Treasurer – Rick Hanners reported a balance of $4926.17. He will be issuing checks at the conclusion of the judging totaling $200 in prizes.

 

Safety Officer – Vince Bell reported no safety issues brought to his attention and reminded everyone obey the AMA and club safety rules. Stay conscious of what you’re doing, watch the props and fly safe.
