awareness and membership in the Club. He also would like to see Hydro races ( Yes… I said “Hydro Races”, BOATS That FLY !) at one of the Fun Flys. We’d be the only Airplane Club to fly boats ! (at least on this flying field)

Entries are still welcome to the Builder’s Contest and entries are $10 ea. You do not have to bring your plans, ARF or kit to the meeting. Models are to be built by the member submitting the fee.
Secretary - Chet Blake reported 69 members including; 1 Honorary, 3 family and 1 junior.
Chet reminded everyone that they the 2006 AMA registration is now required, ALSO, the Club dues will be coming up soon. Please take these seriously, BOTH are required to fly at the field.
Treasurer – Rick Hanners reported that he and Bob Martin went over the finances and reported the club finances to be in good shape at just over $2900 beginning the year. Per the vote by the membership last October, dues will remain at the present rates of $100 for new members, $60 for current members, $30 for family members and $15 for student members.
Safety Officer – Vince Bell reported that all reports have been good and we’ve enjoyed a great safety record at the field. Vince recommended during the slower winter months to take time to check out linkages, hinges, batteries, bolts and general equipment. Don’t take it for granted that every time you get out “old faithful” it doesn’t need to be checked out. Dick Ovrid told about a member that was
