circumstances this will not affect our ability to fly on the field for 2 years anyway. Dale mentioned a RV Park Firm wanted the land at the field location. Nothing is solid at this time. Dale is also making a pond across the road from the field, and offered  it as a good place for anyone that has “Float Planes”. As an aside note, the club should continue looking for an alternate field.

Ron suggested bringing the property owners who own the possible Cherry Valley flying location to the current flying field so they can see how we maintain and keep the field, what R/C AeroModeling is all about, and meet some of the members in our club.

This will be presented to Fred Hanquet.

Ron also mentioned receiving a question from a member about the demographics of the membership. Ron will look at the demography of the club membership. The original question was focused on the current meeting location and if there might be a more convenient location for everyone.

Secretary - Chet Blake reported 66 members including; 1 Honorary, 3 family and 1 junior.

Chet reminded everyone that they should soon be receiving their notice form the AMA to renew their

yearly membership. Also, the Club dues will be coming up soon. Please take these seriously, BOTH are required to fly at the field.

The mowing list has been completed for the year. If you’re at the field and the field needs to be cut, please take it on your own to do so. Remember to clean off the mower deck. In the damper, wetter, and colder months the decaying cuttings on the mower can promote early corrosion and rusting.

Treasurer - Bob went over the projected budget for 2006.

A motion was made and seconded to leave the dues at the present rates of $100 for new members and $60 for current members.

Bob received an invitation for Puyallup to have a booth at the February Model Expo. The decision was to not have a booth.

Safety Officer –There were no reported “hits” or safety issues. Randy stated “It has been a good, incident free flying year. Congratulations to all for keeping Safety a major concern and continue the efforts in the future!”
