Text Box: Well, this month we will keep it a little on the lighter side.
Have you ever wondered why safety officers usually suggest having a buddy along when you fly?
Well there are a few reasons for this.
1. It makes for good company while at the field and if you have to go locate a missing airplane your not lonely.
2. It gives you somebody to have a cup of coffee or a pop with.
3. It also gives you a chance for conversation (talking to yourself is ok, but watch out if you start answering yourself)
Now for some good stuff.
1.If there happens to be an accident there's someone there to help.
2. While flying ,it gives you an extra set of eyes to see what's going on around you, while you’re concentrating on your airplane.
Sorry this is a short one, but time snuck up on me this month. We're still remodeling the house here on Camano Island.
Keep that carb lean and mean and your head calm and cool'
Randy Turner, Club Safety Officer.
