Buzzard Droppings May 2004

The cub scouts have contacted us and have asked if Saturday, June 5 would be OK for the annual program on RC flight. I replied that we were looking forward to the event and the date would be fine. We plan to meet at the field at 10:00 AM and have a lunch for the attendees at 12:30. If you would like to help out, please let me know. In the past we had some members doing ground training school, buddy box flying, demos of RC equipment and radio systems and more! It is a lot of fun for all involved.

There is no fee to enter the swap meet, but you’ll need to sell from your tailgate if you don’t bring your own table. The runway will be open to all AMA members in good standing. President Ron Swift called the monthly meeting of the Barnyard Buzzard Model Airplane Club, Inc. to order at 7:00 PM at the Monroe Library.  Ron introduced the attending board members and asked if there were any attending visitors and / or new members.  Three new members of the club were present.
