club the idea of purchasing a scanner like the AMA’s and raise the money with donations to not deplete the club’s working capital.  The board agreed to present the idea to the full membership.

Membership Cap

We have none today. We agreed none is required at this time.

Safety

The cell phone that was in the shed is missing.  Look into replacing it.

The fire extinguisher is either missing or out of date. Randy Turner donated one.

Gold Leader Club

Need to renew the AMA magazine subscription to the Monroe HS library.

Form has been received, filled out and returned. We qualify for Gold status.

Ron will request a lease agreement from the landlord (only elective we didn’t satisfy).

Club Corporate Status

Bob Martin reported that the club is now a “Non-profit / Tax Exempt” Organization.  He explained that we do not need to file income tax return for 2003 and also the requirements of maintaining that status.

Other AMA Items

Bob Martin stated that the club’s AMA charter expires March 31st and will be submitted after the March regular club meeting as in the past.

Other items of immediate business

Ron Swift reported the dinner certificates have been sent to the Landlord.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:45 PM
