I don’t know about all of you, but the traditional “building season” went by so fast this time, I never even got a good start on my Nosen P-47 project kit. I was kind of hoping for a consolation competition sometime in the fall… The good news is that I’ve been out flying instead.

This upcoming club meeting is the Builder’s Competition judging. Of the 18 entries,  some may not make the judging (ie. The afore mentioned P-47). We will have a somewhat brief business meeting, followed by the judging of the models in the competition. While the ballots are being counted, the builder’s can describe their entries. Feel free to bring other models you have built to the meeting for show & tell.

As always, your contributions of time and money are greatly appreciated. I hope you support Joe and assist with the Field Development projects. It is nearly lawn mowing time also. Bob will be circulating

the mowing list at our March meeting.

I ordered 200 name tags from AMA to help us identify our models. They will be available for a small donation. We will probably keep them at the flying field in the shed after the March club meeting.

We received a card with several photos from the Cub Scouts. Copies of them will be added to our web site.

Thanks to Dick Ovrid for sending new photos of the field as well as doing a great job in the short time we had during the January meeting discussing fabric covering techniques.

See you at the field,

Ron

Luckily we don’t have power
