We had room for a few more pilots, but Event Winner, Dean (center) wasn’t complaining. Tom (far right) took second place and contest director, Scott, second from the left, took third place. Bryon took fourth (far left) and club pres. Ron snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, coming in dead last.

The dangling engine is not a speed secret. Tom luckily had more than one plane and continued to compete.

Sandy did the cooking honors for the event attendees.

Many thanks for the club members who helped run the event and/or cheered the pilots on. It was a safe and fun competition. Next year this pilot will have a few additional planes to fly in the event!
