need 35% expo. I had set the Flaps up on a 3-position switch on my Futaba 9cap. Up, no flaps; one click half flaps and all the way down for full flaps. Rick landed the plane the first time with half flaps and did it perfectly. When Ray took it up later. He did snap rolls, rolls and loops. The plane on low rates preformed OK but was sluggish, on high rate the plane did ok. He had the plane cruising at about half throttle and added half flaps, the plane continued without any jerks or nose up or down reactions. He went to full flaps and again no reaction. The plane slowed and continued without any trouble..
I took it up next, and not being an acrobatic flyer, did normal maneuvers and the plane looked so real… In doing a 180 turn, I put the nose up and added ailerons and the plane glided though the turns. I attempted landing it the first time with half flaps and after a few attempts touched the grass smoothly.
During the first weekend, the Lancair was flown no less that 20 times and it is a plane to keep...
