We most likely have had the greatest summer for flying in history. I hope everyone took advantage of this. The recent rains have actually started our grass growing again.

I’ve received mail from the AMA reminding us that the membership renewal is coming up now. Don’t forget to renew before January 1st. Our club rules state you must have a valid current AMA membership to fly at our

· We’ve probably experienced the best summer for flying RC planes in history.

It is October already and we have a lot to do as a club at this month’s meeting.

Doug will be proposing our budget for 2004. This will set our dues for 2004. It looks like the dues will stay at the present rate unless the membership wants a major change. Last month we agreed to support  a January

The monthly meeting of the Barnyard Buzzards Model Airplane Club was called to order by club president, Ron Swift, on September 2nd, 2003 at 7:00 PM at the Barnyard Buzzards’ flying field to a standing room only crowd.  Many members had shown up early and had been flying before the meeting started.  I, the club secretary, can verify that Doug Hoff did fly a RC plane.

gust meeting minutes as published in the monthly newsletter. A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes. Motion passed unanimously.

Officer and Special Committee Reports:

Ron Swift reported that the meeting dates have changed for October and November, since the Library had a scheduling conflict.. The October meeting will be on 10/14/03 and the November meeting will be on 11/25/2003

Vice President, Hap Shutz, had no report and was not present.

Secretary, Bob Martin, reported that we had two new members
