I am sad to report that Bert Baker has passed on. For those who knew him, he will be missed greatly. Bert designed many models as his own business. The molds and designs for the P-51, P38 and many others became the models that Yellow Aircraft still sells today. · 2004 AMA Membership is required for flying after December 31, 2003

· Pizza Meeting at Alfy’s located on Route 2 in Monroe at our December 9th club meeting. The club foots the bill!

· We are one month into our builder’s competition. Some members will be signing up this month!

The monthly meeting of the Barnyard Buzzards Model Airplane Club was called to order by club President, Ron Swift, on October 14, 2003 at 7:00 PM at the Monroe Library.  Ron introduced the attending board members and asked for any attending guests to identify themselves. We had 5 guests present.. Kurt Stanpfill who later became our newest member, Jeff Blake, Jim Clayton, and Steve & Jeremy Camradi.

Ron asked for a motion to approve the September meeting minutes as published in the monthly newsletter. A motion was made and seconded. Motion passed.
