Come on out to the club’s Annual Open House this Saturday,
June 28. The event will start with a
pilot’s meeting at around 9:00 AM to go over the field rules and safety
related information. We could use some volunteers for cooking and safety
inspection. If you take photos (digitally or otherwise) and get them to me,
the best of the lot will be put on our web site. As always, we will limit the
number of planes in the air to 4, and the frequency board will be in use to
help coordinate and share the channels.
For safety’s sake, having a spotter with each pilot will be required.
Remember to communicate your intentions

submitted to the club at the last meeting, he located a special deal on some
tough fish net that can be used for the safety barriers. He got yards of this
stuff for $50.00. We just need to cut it to size and replace our old one. If

Welcome:
Ron introduced the attending board members and asked for

wife Lorraine, all 3 became our newest members after the

had 3 new guests that arrived later in the meeting, who wanted to attend the
discussion about engines.
Ron asked if there was a motion to approve the May meeting
minutes as written and published in the monthly newsletter. Doug Hoff stated that there was one
correction that needed to be made. The minutes stated that the field rent was
due in June, but it is actually due in July. A motion was made and sec
