Text Box: It appears to this member that the Buzzards are having another great year of flying in the sun and having a good time while doing it. Thanks to all of you, we have had little if any trouble of any sort. Keep it up!
Some big news pending is the possibility to purchase 10 to15 acres of land close to where we are currently located. This land is being sold by the brother of our current landlord and is located on the other side of the train trestle. I have not been able to talk to Dale’s

brother yet but he does know that we are interested.  If the location looks promising we will then start to get serious about a price and  then the funding of such a purchase.  Although moving the club’s location again is not particularly an idea that excites me, the possibility of having a field that would allow us to have the general public attend our shows in a safe manner does interest me greatly.  The club has had lengthy discussions about  public attendance at our meets with the concern for the spectator

Meeting Minutes July 2002 — Ron Swift

Text Box: A synopsis of the meeting:
Meeting was called to order by President Dave Weber at 7:07 PM. Dave mentioned not having the minutes from Rick, so we couldn’t review the minutes from the last meeting.
Dave mentioned that Dale was upset because some club member had left part of his crashed plane in the field. He nearly bailed the plane. It could have caused injury to his

cows. Dave mentioned that the info to remove ALL of our plane’s parts from the field is very important. Dale doesn’t get upset about much of anything, but this is not to be tolerated.

A discussion about the upcoming Fun Fly, which Karl will run  with the help of others. Ron will take care of the cooking.
