Model Airplane engines have been around for quite a few years. The description of a perfect engine varies depending who you ask, but in general, power, weight, sound, fuel consumption, fuel type, reputation, length of service, and uniqueness are all reasons modern radio control modelers choose a particular engine.
Since we are a Radio Control Model flying club, most of the information in this section of our web site will be about engines used for this purpose.
