Alcohol (Glow) Fuel
Alcohol burning Two Stroke Model engines usually have the lowest cost and highest output power per pound compared to all other types of engines. The 40 to 60 size engines seem the most common for beginners in radio controlled flight. The 40 refers to 0.40 cubic inch displacement (bore times the stroke).
The engines are available as single cylinder, multiple cylinder, arranged as a V, opposed, and radial. The multi-cylinder engines have much lower vibration than a single cylinder engine of the same displacement.
