The Barnyard Buzzards Model Airplane Club (BBMAC) is based in Monroe, Washington. The club is chartered with the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), chapter number #2953, allowing anyone who is an AMA member in good standing to become a club member. The majority of our current club members are R/C fliers with a primary interest in sport flying. A number of our club members also participate in competitive events around the Washington area. Our club enjoys a relaxed atmosphere and genial companionship between members. Our main goal is to have fun and enjoy the challenge of building and flying radio control model aircraft.
The club has earned the prestigious Gold Leader Award the past six years from AMA, the national organization for model aviation.
The club meets at 7:00 PM on the first Tuesday of each month at Alfy's Pizza 19121 State Route 2 (in Staples Plaza on the North side of Route 2) in Monroe. During the summer months, May through September (weather permitting), the club meets at our flying field. If you would like additional information, come out to a club meeting, or contact one of our club officers.

The annual dues are $100.00 for new members and $60.00 for returning members who have not allowed their membership to lapse. If you would like to become a club member, please fill out and mail a Membership Application with a copy of your AMA Membership Card to:

One of the club officers will contact you, once your application has been reviewed. It is recommended that you attend one of our club meetings and/or stop out at our club flying field so that you'll have a chance to meet some of the club members and allow them to meet you.
